Robert L. Lancione, Ph.D. is our Director of Medi-Cal services and VP of Technology. He has been working with HMHBA in various roles since 2010 and is indispensable to our organization, working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure its continued success. He is truly the backbone of our organization.

He received his Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Physical Chemistry from Clark University in Worcester, MA. Robert has extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Informatics, and Healthcare Industries in the United States and Asia. He was formerly employed by Waters Technologies Corporation, HP (Hewlett-Packard Company), and Agilent Technologies in various technical, sales, marketing and business development roles. Robert’s expertise includes HIPAA compliant information security and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant networked data systems.  Originally from Upstate NY, Robert currently lives in sunny San Diego, CA.  He is an uncle and a great-uncle to several nieces and nephews.
