Kofi Peprah, MS, MPhil
Father’s Support Group Facilitator
Kofi Peprah is the facilitator of our support and discussion group for fathers. Kofi has over 12 years of community college and university teaching experience in Los Angeles and New York City. He received his MS in Global Health Science from the University of California San Francisco and MPhil from the University of Ghana, Legon, Accra. Kofi teaches courses in physical, world-regional and cultural geography and has performed research on the assessment of mercury exposure of women and children, in gold mining communities, in Ghana. Kofi is a father of two daughter ages 8 and 11, both who were breastfed, and born with the assistance of midwives, one in the hospital and one at home. Kofi is an advocate for uplifting fatherhood and promoting education on ways to support their partners during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period.
