Dr. R. Ndinda Mutua Ngewa, Dr. PH
Dr. R. Ndinda Mutua Ngewa, Dr. PH, is a preventive medicine and public health specialist. She has expertise in health capacity building, women’s health (with a special interest in maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health), refugee and immigrant health, social behavioral health, and leadership and governance. She is a champion advocate for access to quality and sustainable healthcare for citizens in the developed and developing world. An associate of U.S. Doctors for Africa and the United Nation’s affiliate International Association of Applied Psychology, she is an advocate for women’s empowerment through achieving health equity and social justice issues. As the third generation of women in her family breaking through barriers for global communities, she is committed to improving health outcomes of under-served communities and continued service focused in the U.S. and in Eastern Africa. She has family roots in Kenya and Nigeria.
