Tai Carson, BA, CPSS, CLE, CPD, CCE, CMA is a retired midwife who has lovingly attended to over 700 births throughout her 35-year career. She serves as a Birth and Postpartum Doula, Monitrice, and Childbirth and Lactation Educator. Formerly the owner and midwife at Hollywood Birth Center, Tai has had the pleasure of working with clients from all walks of life and diverse ethnic backgrounds. She speaks Spanish fluently, which enriches her connection with families. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she comes from a mixed ethnic heritage of African, European and Asian ancestry, making her relatable to a diverse clientele. 

As an added plus, with her background as a former chef, she creates delicious and nutritious meals for new mamas, helping them feel pampered.
 
She earned her Bachelor’s in Health and Human Services from Cal State Los Angeles and holds a certificate in Counseling Psychology. As a Registered Medical Assistant in Washington state, she has provided vital primary care in community clinics. Tai is also a Certified Perinatal Support Specialist, Certified Birth Doula, Certified Lactation Educator, and Certified Childbirth Educator. Her extensive knowledge and years of experience in maternity care make her an invaluable asset to her clients. Known for her compassion, Tai has a wonderful ability to work with individuals from all backgrounds, including high-profile clients, with discretion. She is currently available for Postpartum Doula Support, Lactation Counseling, Monitrice Support, and Childbirth Education across Los Angeles County.
