My name is Nia Symone, and I am a trained doula from Bloomington, Minnesota, currently residing in Los Angeles. As a new doula, I am experiencing many firsts and am growing in my newfound role. I have been a photographer and music video director for the last several years and realized I was much more fulfilled being a nanny to a toddler with Hydrocephalus and other developmental delays, than being on set for hours. Although photography and creating will always be my passion I am excited to incorporate my love of yoga and holistic wellness. I am a spiritual person and believe in the importance of ushering babies into a happy and healthy environment through the use of essential oils, high vibrational music, and meditative practices.
