My name is Rachel Nourmand, located in the West LA. As a birth doula, I’m dedicated to nurturing, educating, and honoring each woman’s unique journey. My intention is to create a calm, supportive space for women to do the most powerful thing — bring forth life — while trusting their body’s wisdom and inner strength.
 
From a very young age, I’ve been drawn to exploring and understanding people and the nature of love. Over the past decade, I studied subconscious release and certified with Oliver Niño in energy work.
 
I love expressing my creativity through dancing, pottery- making, styling, interior designing. I love traveling and meeting new people, learning about their land, culture and traditions.
 
My own healing journey taught me how vital it is for the nurturer to be nurtured. Although I have not yet birthed children, I’ve birthed myself many times — learning to navigate and flow with life’s waves, and hold spaces for transformation.
 
In doula work I find purpose and joy in contributing to a more healed world, one birth at a time.
 
My wish is for every mother to experience this sacred journey with self-trust, love, and meaning.
