This is a basic course in childbirth education for health and human service professionals working with pregnant women. You will gain information to promote evidence-based, trauma-informed, childbirth education classes for pregnant women and their partners in the community or clinical setting.
This course will help your staff and organization achieve program objectives for maternal-infant health including lowering rates of prematurity, infant mortality, maternal mortality and cesarean section among program clients.
Upon completing the course, you will receive a “Certified Childbirth Educator” certificate.
