My name is Lovetta Roberts. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I am the proud mother of two amazing young men. My background includes owning and running a childcare facility and serving as a preschool teacher. However, I consider motherhood my greatest achievement and the driving force behind my decision to become a certified birth and postpartum doula.
 
I believe every woman deserves support and care at every stage of the motherhood journey. Childbirth can be amazing, terrifying, wonderful, and exhausting all at once. That’s why having the right person with the right attitude and training by your side is invaluable – and that’s the role I strive to fill. Together, we can create a plan that includes information, proven techniques, and encouragement, empowering you to feel confident in your choices and giving you a voice throughout the entire mommy-baby experience.
 
As a woman of color and a mother, I understand the unique challenges that women often face in receiving adequate care. However, I firmly believe that by working together and building a strong support team, we can overcome these challenges. Every mom, every baby, every birth is special, and being part of these special moments is why I am passionate about being a doula.
